Ensuring that personal data is securely backed up and retrievable from anywhere.<strong>How to back up your Android phone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions on how to back up your&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tech-battery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Android phone<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;can vary\u2014the instructions for a Samsung Galaxy\u00ae S22 will be different than, say, the Google Pixel\u2122 6. An easy solution is to use Google Drive to save a copy of your photos, videos, messages, and other items in your cloud. Using Google One, you&#8217;ll get 15 GB of free Google Drive cloud storage and be able to access your content on your phone, computer, tablet, or another device with the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tech-battery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;One app installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To back up your Samsung phone to Google Drive:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap Accounts and backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap Back up data. If prompted, enter your Google username and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure the Backup by Google One switch is on, then tap Back up now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From this screen, you can also choose to set up automatic backups going forward. It&#8217;s also a great way to free up storage space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you get started, make sure you&#8217;re connected to Wi-Fi and that you have your&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tech-battery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apple<\/a><\/strong>\u00ae ID and password to sign into iCloud\u2014if you need help, check out our guide on how to set up iCloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap Settings, then tap on your name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap iCloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tech-battery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iCloud Backup<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap Back Up Now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process completes. To make sure that the backup finished, go to Settings &gt; [your name] &gt; iCloud &gt; iCloud Backup. The time of the last successful backup should appear on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to back up your iPhone on your computer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a Mac running&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tech-battery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">macOS<\/a><\/strong>\u00ae Mojave 10.14 or earlier or a PC, you&#8217;ll use iTunes\u00ae to back up your iPhone.
